The first was retrofitting 12 offices for our co-working company, a project that included custom barn doors, HVAC, carpentry, flooring, paint and electrical. All done after hours. The second project was a home renovation that includes flooring, carpentry, paint, electrical, and exterior work/fencing. I love that Jake added “Detailing ” to his company name. I met Jake after a friend recommended his work. Jake is amazing. Not only has Jake demonstrated the knowledge and experience and skill to transform our bathrooms, but Jake has also been a partner in creating wonderful new bathrooms for us. Jake’s work is incredibly high quality, but what really makes working with Marshall Construction easy is his communication skills. Jake is very clear about timelines, any issues he has encountered and his plans to solve them, and what the next step is on the project. He and his team arrive on time, provide updates about the work they are doing, and then clean up before leaving at the end of the day. Jake listened during the design phase to understand what we wanted. He then took that hazy idea and turn it into several mocked up designs for us to consider. From there we were able to iterate to get to the ideal solution. We had a vague idea, and with Jake’s help we were able to make some changes that make our bathroom unique and that fits our style. We are going to have all the luxuries we wanted, but it is also going to feel like our own space made just for us. Jake was also able to hear what we wanted, and help us figure out where our idea was not going to pass inspection, so that we could tweak what we wanted to have the same look but still meet the requirements for our County.
